Dr. Moses S. Dixon, PhD, is a leading practitioner in Global Health and Social Medicine with a comprehensive background in the non-profit and governmental sectors at both the local and national levels. Since 2019, he has served as the President & CEO of Senior Connection (formerly the Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging, Inc.), where his leadership has been defined by innovation and a steadfast commitment to aging services.

In recognition of his transformative impact on the sector, Dr. Dixon was named the 2025 Healthcare Nonprofit Leader of the Year by the Worcester Business Journal. His global contributions to the field were further honored in early 2026 when he received the Forttuna Group Global Excellence Award for Health & Wellness. This international accolade recognizes his visionary leadership in integrating global health delivery models—such as the “CareExpress” mobile health bus—to improve health outcomes and social support for older adults and caregivers.

Dr. Dixon’s expertise in global health delivery, particularly in advocacy for “Grandfamilies” (grandparents raising grandchildren), has been recognized by Harvard Medical School. His professional journey includes significant service in the public sector, having served as a legislative fellow for former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid and as a legislative aide to Massachusetts State House.

In January 2024, Dr. Dixon was selected as one of 60 scholars for the ninth class of the Presidential Leadership Scholars (PLS) program. Through this initiative, he collaborates with a diverse network of national leaders to drive meaningful change, drawing on the leadership lessons of the administrations of George W. Bush, William J. Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Lyndon B. Johnson.

Dr. Dixon holds a Doctorate in Community and Public Affairs from The State University of New York at Binghamton, a Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery from Harvard Medical School, a Master’s in Community Development and Planning from Clark University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Howard University.
