ElderCare 2018 Awards

ElderCare 2018 Awards

This past year, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office & Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging held the 20th Anniversary ElderCare 2018  event.
The funds raised during this event have allowed us to award the funds in 13 Mini Grants helping those in our community.

Programs submitted included:

  • Fitness programs for people with dementia
  • Healthy Eating/Cooking Programs (which can also help combat social isolation)
  • Memory Cafes
  • Therapy Workshops (e.g. Yoga)

The Award given to the Sutton Senior Center  will help to provide much needed transportation services for seniors receiving chemotherapy, dialysis and eye surgery appointments.
